    NCIDQ Tuition Reimbursement Fund
Supporting IIDA Members as They Advance Their Career with an inaugural gift from Mannington Commercial, this Fund offers IIDA Associate Members an opportunity to apply for financial assistance upon passing all three parts of the NCIDQ exam. Passage of the exam is a requirement for licensure in all NCIDQ member jurisdictions. The exam also serves as a qualifier for professional membership within interior design organizations and, for non-affiliates, represents a voluntary individual accomplishment.

    Educational Seminar
Interiors designers from across the State of Idaho attended an educational seminar in fall 2010 hosted by the Association of Idaho Cities on "Energy Code Updates for Interiors". Speakers were Ken Baker and Sharon Patterson. The event was organized and breakfast was provided by Ideal for Idaho. Interior designers are trained, educated and tested in building codes and clearly affect the public health, safety and welfare. Interior designers are part of the building team responsible for carrying forward the Governor's agenda for making Idaho a more sustainable place, in concert with federal energy initiatives and policies.
